With this proposal, my technology does not drive my content. Rather my content is supported by integration of technology. Teaching my students to use content vocabulary through the use of technology is at the heart of this proposal. I am using technology to deepened students understanding of art vocabulary as well as using an online space to apply that knowledge. My content vocabulary is intertwined with my pedagogy as I will be supporting student practice of vocabulary. Blogging technology is used to support my pedagogy of students practicing using their vocabulary in effort to deepen their knowledge of the terms. Through this proposal content knowledge, pedagogy and technology work together to enhance student’s understanding of art vocabulary so that students may develop deep knowledge and apply that knowledge across contexts.
